BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
Ages 15+
As part of Team Link BJJ & MMA, we teach traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to both children and adults. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an effective, practical martial art that is very applicable to self-defense situations and is also a fantastic way to stay fit. We offer a balanced curriculum of sport, no-gi, and self defense. BJJ uses techniques that involve spending much of your time on the ground, grappling and fighting for positions and submissions. The emphasis is on ground-fighting, but we also cover takedowns with and without the kimono (uniform). The goal is to overwhelm your opponent, forcing him to submit, or in competition settings, winning with points.
KICKBOXING
Ages 13+
At Tokyo Joe’s & Team Link we teach traditional Thai style kickboxing classes with a Western Boxing and Karate influence, Youth Kickboxing classes, and high energy Cardio Kickboxing classes. All programs are taught in a well-rounded manner emphasizing mental focus and physical fitness. These are great classes for those who want to learn striking fundamentals while enjoying the incredible benefits Kickboxing has to offer.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS
Ages 15+
Competing in Mixed Martial Arts requires extensive training in many forms of martial arts, including striking, wrestling and submission grappling. Team Link Hooksett offers a comprehensive MMA program with top ranked coaches and fighters competing at both local and national levels. KEMPO KARATE
Ages 13+
Shaolin Kempo Karate is a martial art style that combines the Five Animals of Shaolin Kung Fu, the core competency of Kempo, the hard-hitting linear explosiveness of traditional Karate, as well as the power of Western boxing and the felling and grappling arts of Jiu jitsu, Chin Na, and Mongolian wrestling. Tokyo Joe’s Kempo Karate classes and lessons are taught by highly qualified Black Belt instructors who know how to make each class a fun, safe and educational learning environment.
PERSONAL TRAINING
In addition to Martial Arts, we offer Personal Training with Certified trainers. Personal Training is provided in both private and group settings to our students and parents of students at highly competitive prices. Strength and conditioning training is a great way to begin getting into shape, train for competition, or take your workouts to the next level. From newcomers to athletes, personal training takes the guesswork out of reaching your fitness goals. Personal Training can be scheduled during your children’s class times or around your training schedule. Our BJJ and MMA fighters benefit from an in-house personal trainer to maximize performance in competition.
